Sylvaine Ang (Ang Shiao Chee, 洪小慈) — Founder and Lead Assessor, Sunshine Kid Preschool.

Sylvaine holds a Master of Education with specialisation in Educational Psychology from Asia e University (CGPA 3.69, conferred 18 September 2025). Her postgraduate coursework spans Educational Assessment, Lifespan Development, Brain Cognition and Education, Learning and Cognition, Statistics in Education, and Qualitative Research Methods — the full curriculum required to design, conduct, and interpret child development assessments at a professional level.

At Sunshine Kid, Sylvaine personally observes every trial-class student, conducts the structured assessment, and writes the Trial Class Observation Record & Support Plan (试课观察记录与支持计划) that parents receive afterwards. Her training combines academic rigour with hands-on preschool teaching, allowing her to evaluate a child in real classroom context — not in a clinical interview room.

She is the same assessor across both Sunshine Kid branches (Taman Molek and Bandar Dato Onn), ensuring consistent assessment quality regardless of which branch a parent chooses.
